sarazucker:

the entire jason wu for target collection was revealed last week and i, ever the procrastinator, waited until today to show you my favorite looks—because i know you want to see them (wink, nudge). and aside from the constipated-looking model, in my opinion, this may be the most flattering of all the target designer collaborations for a few reasons: color palette, shape, no appropriation of season. i also loved the retro undertones. even better? none of the pieces are priced above $59.99.
mark your calendars: the line lands in stores and online on february 5th.

I have a love-hate relationship with Target collabs. Mainly hate because the scramble for the goods stresses me out too much. I think if I could ascribe a dollar amount to the stress of trying to score a piece of the pie, and then add it to the price, it would equal a real Jason Wu piece. Okay, maybe that’s a little dramatic. But hopefully I’m getting closer and closer to that attitude being my reality.
Also, Target is a pain in the ass in NYC.
That’s not stopping me from wanting the bejeesums out of this stuff, though.
